What To Do:

#1 Pancakes Recipe

First, prepare pancake batter according to the below recipe. Kids will enjoy it if you include them in this procedure. They can add wet ingredients into a mixer, press buttons on a mixer, or weigh dry ingredients. Older kids also love to break some eggs.

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 400 ml milk
  • 250 g plain flour
  • 1mm ml mineral water
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • pinch of salt
  • vanilla sugar

Directions:

Firstly, put all wet ingredients into the kitchen mixer and mix them: eggs, milk, oil, and mineral water. After that, add dry ingredients: flour, salt, and vanilla sugar and mix once again until getting a smooth batter. If you have time, place a batter into the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

#2 Creating Motifs

In pharmacy buy at least 20 ml injection syringes. Kids can fill the syringes with pancake batter, while parents heat the frying pan. I recommend using some older pan because the batter often burns on the pan during your drawing and motifs creating. When the pan is hot enough, kids can start to create their artwork with the syringe filled with pancake batter but only under the parents’ supervision.  Different motifs can be created like emojis or animals.

#3 Baking Pancakes

Because the pan is very hot, the batter solidifies very fast while we trying to draw a motif. In addition, when we draw a fantasy pancake, the pancakes are baked also on the other side. In the end, the fantasy pancake can be also decorated with raisins or bonbons.
